Bay Area Legal Aid (BayLegal) ensures fairness in the civil justice system for vulnerable community members. Serving seven Bay Area counties, we provide free civil legal assistance to low-income clients, including legal advice, counsel, and representation. Our clients include the working poor, families, seniors, immigrants, and veterans. BayLegal prevents domestic violence, increases economic stability, and prevents homelessness.
