Orbisk is a start-up on a mission to make the world food system more sustainable using progressive and innovative technology. We tackle food waste, with one-third of all food produced being wasted globally. In The Netherlands' hospitality industry alone, this amounts to 150 million kilos per year. Our solution provides hospitality organizations with insights into their food waste, helping them cut it in half. We utilize computer vision and AI, with a smart camera and scale to automatically register all food waste up to the ingredient level.
