3D LiDAR Specialist

Summary

Join Intetics Inc. as a part-time consultant to leverage your MicroStation and TerraScan expertise. You will provide on-demand support for advanced tasks, including 3D feature extraction, vectorization, and LiDAR data classification. This role involves guiding engineers on advanced workflows, advising on best practices, and assisting with quality control. You will also conduct short knowledge-sharing sessions. The position offers flexible scheduling, 100% remote collaboration, and the opportunity to influence multiple LiDAR-based projects. Compensation is hourly, negotiable based on expertise.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in MicroStation and TerraScan, with hands-on experience in 3D feature extraction from LiDAR datasets
• Solid background in working with large point clouds and generating CAD/GIS models
• Good understanding of LiDAR classification principles and CAD data integration
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes for LiDAR-derived products (DTM, breaklines, vector deliverables)
• Ability to explain complex topics in a clear, practical way
• Flexibility in scheduling short consulting sessions when needed
