3D Retoucher

Summary

The job is for a 3D Retoucher in the company Grip. The role involves providing feedback on photo-realistic content created by the in-house 3D studio, adjusting lighting, shading, and color of images, and integrating new products into existing photographed scenes. The ideal candidate should have excellent Photoshop skills, previous retouching experience, understanding of lighting, and a basic understanding of 3D.

Requirements

• Excellent Photoshop skills, including knowledge of all the blend modes, different selection types, how to realistically apply filters, an understanding of smart objects and non-destructive workflows
• Previous retouching experience, particularly in compositing
• Experience or interest in node-based editing, even at a hobby level
• Experience with colour grading and masking (creation and clean-up)
• A good understanding of lighting
• Preferably experience working with 3D renders and an understanding of how CGI images are produced
• Excellent attention to detail
• Communication skills to discuss issues or potential improvements to the workflow

• Provide feedback on photo-realistic content created by the in-house 3D studio
