Requirements
- Adept in using 3ds Max, Vray, Phoenix fd or similar simulation software, Tyflow or similar, After Effects or Nuke, and Photoshop
- Proven experience as a 3D generalist with a robust portfolio
- Strong knowledge of shading, lighting and rendering, with a good knowledge in liquid simulation
- Familiar with the process of integrating 3D elements in live-action footage
- At least one working example that shows a strong sense of 3D (shading and lighting)
- Must be able to balance quality with the project's time frame
- Effective planning and prioritization of multiple tasks, with problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a critical eye for visual quality
- Effective at taking direction, asking questions, and learning through observation
- Quick learning ability for new processes and technology
- Excellent (English) communication skills
Responsibilities
- Work on all facets of 3D pipeline on multiple projects with tight deadlines, includes modeling, texturing, lighting, liquid simulation, render management and basic compositing
- Quality control of tracking and match moving files
- Integrate 3D elements in real live footage
- Communicate effectively with team members, VFX supervisors and Project Managers
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve any technical issues that may arise
- Meet project deadlines and milestones
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
