ABAP Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a global digital product engineering company, as an experienced ABAP developer. You will design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs in SAP systems, build and maintain CDS Views, and lead data migration projects. Collaboration with international teams and mentoring junior developers are key aspects of this role. You will also debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs and support SAP upgrades. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, strong hands-on experience with CDS Views and ABAP on HANA, and proven data migration expertise. Fluency in English is required.

• Strong hands-on experience with CDS Views and ABAP on HANA
• Proven experience in data migration tools and methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and geographically distributed teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and optimizing ABAP programs in SAP systems
• Building and maintaining CDS Views for data modeling
• Leading or supporting data migration projects
• Coordinating with teams across different locations to ensure seamless project execution
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
• Debugging and troubleshooting ABAP programs as needed
• Supporting SAP upgrades and enhancements, ensuring best practices are followed

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent German is nice to have
• SAP Fiori/UI5 experience is a plus
