This role involves generating design documents, executing software development, performing testing, resolving issues, and collaborating with geographically distributed teams. Requirements

• Be experienced in ABAP development, RAP and Fiori
• Have tooling exposure in Eclipse and Visual Studio Code
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Understand the concepts of functional and object-oriented paradigms, applying them effectively in software development
• Be experienced in designing and developing web applications and user interfaces using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Be experienced in collaborating with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and business analysts to translate design concepts and business requirements into functional web applications
• Have knowledge of creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces that work seamlessly on various devices and browsers
• Be experienced in implementing and customizing SAPUI5 controls and libraries to meet project-specific requirements
• Have know-how in optimizing web application performance for faster load times and a smooth user experience
• Be experienced in conducting unit testing and debugging to identify and fix issues in the front-end code

Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive design documents for new software features, and engage with the scrum team for review and feedback
• Execute software development based on the reviewed design, and conduct thorough developer tests to uphold code quality
• Perform testing on newly developed software during the internal test phase (functional integration test), promptly addressing any identified issues
• Take responsibility for resolving issues in the software discovered during customer tests (solution acceptance test) to ensure a smooth deployment process
• Analyze and resolve complex issues in both existing and new code, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent development, quality, and delivery skills within scrum teams, actively contributing to short development and release cycles
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for successful project outcomes
• Implement and adhere to agile software engineering methods, actively participating in the complete software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold an academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Have experience with SAP Cloud Technologies such as BPT
