Join National Power as an Electrician Helper and contribute to our team in the southeastern U.S. region. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, you will assist the lead electrician with electrical work, including installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for our customers. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with air conditioning system installation, maintenance, and repair, wiring, conduit installation, electrical component assembly, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be responsible for following safety protocols, obtaining necessary equipment and materials, and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to learn or knowledge of the NEC and Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly
- Ability to obtain safety certifications after hired, company sponsored
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
- Help with wiring, conduit installation, and electrical component assembly
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on AC systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience in the telecommunications industry a plus
