Requirements

  • Speak German fluently! High-level knowledge of German language (at least active B2), as the work and training will be in German
  • Be able to read HTML, CSS and Javascript or other object-oriented languages (e.g. Java)
  • Have software testing experience
  • Be interested in the transition of applications to an accessible environment, as well as their testing
  • Be precise and thorough
  • Be proactive, communicative and independent
  • Value development and learning

Responsibilities

  • Test user interfaces according to given criteria/checklists (technical and content accessibility with JAWS screen reader)
  • Evaluate test results, fix bugs or report them to the relevant team in German
  • Code analysis related to accessibility topics
  • Active participation in finding the root causes of bugs and solving problems (in cooperation with developers)
  • Documenting bugs, shortcomings or positive results in German

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an IT diploma, but at least a secondary-level IT qualification
  • Have the ISTQB Foundation certificate, as this already proves your knowledge of testing at basic level
  • Have experience in testing accessibility of applications and websites
  • Have worked in an international project team
