Summary

Join HubSpot's highly successful Sales Team as an Account Executive, Mid Market (Growth Specialist) in India. You will leverage proactive and inbound selling strategies to acquire new business and expand existing customer usage of the HubSpot platform. This role requires a proven track record in SaaS sales within India's mid-market, experience with complex sales cycles, and the ability to advise C-level executives. You will manage the full sales cycle, identify new prospects, and collaborate with internal teams. HubSpot values flexibility and connection, offering a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience in the India's Mid Market business space with a focus in the SaaS technology industry
  • Experience in a complex selling environment
  • Good knowledge in the India region
  • Have presented and pitched to C-level executives on a business change
  • Management of monthly and annual pipeline as well as proven accuracy in forecasting
  • Goal-orientated with track record of overachieving on monthly & annual targets
  • Trained and/or certified in a standardised sales method (E.g. Sandler)
  • Proven ability to drive results
  • Be resilient during challenging sales situations
  • Have a customer-first mentality
  • A strong growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Run a full sales cycle and close both new business and install base at or above quota on a monthly cadence
  • Find new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads
  • Run qualification calls with C-level executives and department leaders
  • Run online, and occasionally in person, product demonstrations
  • Sell through internal champions to multiple stakeholders, as well as directly to C - level
  • Work collaboratively with HubSpot's marketing and technology departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of how businesses grow, and confidence in advising C-level executives on growth strategies
  • Genuine curiosity about business and technology
  • A growth mindset and a habit of seeking feedback for self-development
  • High performance in areas outside of professional work (E.g hobbies, side business, sport, creative)
  • Having taken on additional responsibility in a team environment (E.g coaching, mentoring, team projects)
