Summary

Join Calabrio as an Account Executive - SLED and drive sales of Calabrio Workforce Optimization (WFO) solutions within the State, Local Government, and Education sectors. This 100% remote position, based in the Northeast, involves identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing sales within government procurement processes. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with Calabrio's business goals, requiring strong prospecting, relationship management, and quota achievement skills. Deliver value to public sector clients and utilize CRM tools like Salesforce.com. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market needs. Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success in a B2B sales environment, preferably with SaaS or government solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient in managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
  • 10+ years of Sales experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in selling to State, Local Government, and Education sectors
  • Experience with MEDDDPIC used to Drive Business Outcomes with your customers and Prospects
  • Strong understanding of government procurement and contracting processes
  • Demonstrated success using a consultative approach with key business and technical executives, especially technical CXOs, and VPs
  • Consistent history of overachievement, with demonstrated success of multi-year quota achievement
  • Experience in prospecting, and leveraging tools like Outreach, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • A college or university degree; technical disciplines or backgrounds are preferred
  • Ability to travel at a minimum of 50%

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals for software and service offerings within the assigned territory
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the SLED market
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce.com, to manage sales pipeline and reporting
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market needs
