Adjunct Faculty CPB-Virtual Instructor

Summary

Join AAPC as a certified adjunct instructor to facilitate our CPB course and help students succeed in their healthcare careers. This remote contract position requires facilitating online curriculum through the Blackboard platform, holding weekly office hours, monitoring student progress, and providing timely feedback. You will also adhere to faculty policies, participate in meetings, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with online teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a dedication to student success. This is a remote contract position.

Requirements

• AAPC Instructor credential (CPC-I) and the CPB credential
• Minimum 5 years healthcare business experience
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience (online experience preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitate online curriculum through Black Board platform for core and specialty credentials
• Hold weekly office hours
• Monitor and measure student participation, attendance, and completion of assignments and assessments
• Record attendance
• Respond to student queries and provide relevant and timely feedback
• Adhere to all faculty policies and procedures
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts
