Requirements
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures and ability to operate and troubleshoot most standard office equipment
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have basic computer skills to learn a CRM system
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally (in person and via phone) and written
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive information and documents and confidentially
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Minimum one year of proven sales experience
- Demonstrated Outbound Call Center or Telephone Sales experience
- Working knowledge of SEO
- Experience in digital advertising sales
Responsibilities
- Sell advertising and non-dues products or services to BBB Accredited Businesses in an assigned area or territory
- Create new accounts and maintain existing accounts
- Contact new and existing customers or clients to explain the features and merits of products or services
- Demonstrate value proposition of products or services, utilize persuasive sales techniques, and assist in determining the best application of product or services
- Meet minimum standards for business development activities, including a set of number calls, talk time per day, sales, and retention
- Build relationships and maintain constant communication throughout the year with Accredited Businesses after finalizing sales
- Collaborate with support departments and staff members on company-wide processes and goals professionally and courteously and is an advocate for and fosters a positive teamwork environment
- Perform tasks as requested by BBB senior leadership team
- Maintain timelines
- Attend BBB staff-related events as needed
- Adhere to BBB Standards of Trust and Core Values
