Join ServiceNow as a Solution Consultant, a technical role focused on developing and presenting product solutions within a specific industry vertical (e.g., Healthcare & Life Science). You will serve as a thought leader in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), collaborating with product and engineering teams. Responsibilities include creating training programs for colleagues, generating sales pipeline, and showcasing ITAM solutions. You will also assist sales in qualifying customer needs and delivering proof-of-concept engagements. The role requires significant travel and strong communication skills. Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience, 2 of which are directly with the ServiceNow platform, preferably with the ITAM product suite
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including technical and business concepts associated with optimizing/streamlining costs
- Ability to forge strong business relationships and connect with personnel at the staff through C-level (at customer accounts as well as with individuals within the ServiceNow ecosystem)
- Strong presales experience and mastery of the sales process OR strong ServiceNow implementation experience (as an implementation partner / vendor or customer)
- Exhibit prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology
Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought leader on IT Asset Management (inclusive of hardware asset management, software asset management) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for ServiceNow
- Develop and maintain strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide and advocate for product enhancements, roadmap additions and to relay feedback from the field & customers
- Create and own programs that enable / train Solution Consultants and Sellers to demonstrate the value of ITAM and EAM
- Create and own efforts to generate and mature ITAM and EAM pipeline for customers within the United States (e.g., webinars, in person events, workshops)
- Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITAM solutions created on the ServiceNow platform
- Assist the sales personnel in qualification of customer needs and performing business value assessments to determine value for clients
- Demonstrate of solutions - both standard and tailored - to prospects and existing customers
- Respond to requests for information / proposal (RFIs, RFPs)
- Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
- Support Marketing events β user conferences, trade shows, webinars, summits, practitioner workshops
- Stay current on competitive analysis and understand how to best position ServiceNow solution to ensure we keep ahead of opportunities, obstacles, and challenges
- Understand business and technical problems addressed by the product including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc
