Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years (for Junior) or 5 years (for Senior Associate) of payroll experience in the Africa region
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Being located in Africa
  • Experience with Office (Word, Excel), Office 365, SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of daily payroll function related to the Africa region
  • Coordinate and manage service providers to meet requirements from clients and their employees
  • Develop procedures and documentation, continuously improve the process to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Research, monitor and document changes of statutory acts, labour, employment act in Africa to ensure compliance with local requirements
  • Master relevant Payroll / Leave / Expense systems
  • Process leaves and claims in line with clients’ policies and procedures, and statutory requirements
  • Manage payroll metrics and client (including clients’ employees) satisfaction rate to meet company’s goal

Preferred Qualifications

Additional European languages besides English are considered a plus
