Summary

TheyDo is a fully remote B2B SaaS organization founded in 2019. With recent funding, the company aims to make customer journeys more powerful using AI and ML approaches. The role involves managing a team of data scientists, maintaining internal data directory, partnering with product teams, owning analytics infrastructure, and setting up self-serve analytics. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading an AI/Data team, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and domain knowledge in AI/ML.

Requirements

  • Understanding of modern data stack and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Sigma, or Looker)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, DataBricks or similar tooling
  • Domain knowledge in AI/ML field from LLM-s to training inhouse models and related infrastructure
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in leadership role in AI, Data or Analytics field
  • Leader who is able to manage and drive innovation across whole Data landscape from AI/ML to Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Expert who is able to mentor both the team and whole company on AI, Data and Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse team of Data scientists, AI/ML/Analytics Engineers and Analysts
  • Maintain internal β€˜data directory’ about data sources
  • Be a partner to our Product teams in delivering AI and Data enabled features
  • Own analytics and datawarehouse platform infrastructure and architecture
  • Own analytics visualisation tooling
  • Own the budget and maintain ROI of data/analytics tooling and infrastructure
  • Set up and maintain self-serve analytics for all TheyDo employees
  • Maintain AI, Data and analytics roadmap aligned to business needs
  • Identify and make the Analytics team own key dashboards and reports
  • Enable data-driven business forecasts
  • Enable exploratory product analytics and support data driven A/B testing
  • Bridge AI and Data opportunities to business needs
  • Stay on top of innovation in AI, Data and Analytics fields and be the thought-leader in our company
