Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years focused on large-scale AI/ML data systems
- Expert knowledge of modern databases (e.g., vector stores, graph databases) and distributed systems
- Proven track record designing robust data models for both traditional and AI-specific applications
- Hands-on experience with data quality monitoring for machine learning applications
- Proficiency with data orchestration tools and ETL/ELT processes for AI pipelines
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with RAG systems and agentic applications
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures specifically optimized for AI/ML systems and AI-driven applications (including vector and graph databases)
- Design and develop schemas, data models, and APIs to power RAG workflows and agentic systems
- Lead the integration of structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring fast, reliable retrieval and context for AI models
- Collaborate with ML engineers to optimize data pipelines for model training, validation, inference, and feedback loops
- Architect data versioning systems that maintain alignment between models and their training data
- Evaluate emerging data technologies and drive adoption across AI initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MLOps and feature stores
- Knowledge of multimodal data architectures for vision + text systems
- Familiarity with construction data
