AI Engineer - Business Transformation

Summary

Collaborate with leaders in Ops, Product, Customer Success, and Support to identify inefficiencies and design solutions using Python, GPT, Zapier, Retool, and custom APIs. Launch quick POCs, gather feedback, and convert them into stable production systems. Track time savings and report on ROI. Create and manage an internal "Automation Library." Stay updated on emerging AI trends and propose new solutions. This role offers the chance to be a one-person internal innovation engine.

Requirements

• Have 3–6+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or ML
• Are fluent in Python, APIs, and platforms like Zapier, LangChain, or Retool
• Can take a vague manual process and turn it into a crisp, elegant solution
• Write clean, maintainable code — even for internal workflows
• Communicate well with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Obsess over time saved and love showing off your impact
• Are deeply curious, humble, and biased toward action

Responsibilities

• Identify and automate high-impact, repetitive workflows across the company
• Build reliable AI agents, process automations, and internal tools that scale
• Launch quick POCs, gather feedback, and convert them into stable production systems
• Track time savings and report on ROI for every project you deploy
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to drive adoption and maximize impact
• Create and manage our internal “Automation Library” of reusable solutions
• Stay on top of emerging AI trends and proactively propose new solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal AI assistants or automating company operations
• Familiarity with multifamily, SaaS, or operations-heavy businesses
• Contributions to open source or AI tools
