Summary

Join us as a Subject Matter Expert in German fields to contribute to cutting-edge approaches to data development! This 4-12 week independent contractor position requires flexible hours (8-40 hours per week) and is ideal for candidates residing in the US Central Time Zone with an undergraduate or graduate degree, experience in the field, strong English skills, attention to detail, and ability to work asynchronously.

Requirements

• Prefer candidates residing in US Central Time Zone
• Undergraduate Degree, Graduate Degree (holder or candidate), faculty, or professional expert in different German studies, or other relevant discipline
• An academic or professional focus in German (Linguists, History, Mythology, Literature Philosophy or Film)
• Recent experience in the field as a Professor/Lecturer/Instructor, Graduate Assistant, Undergraduate or graduate level teaching assistant, Researcher, Consultant, adviser, or professional in the field
• Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• The ability to write clear, thorough yet succinct summaries
• Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials
• Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks
• A reliable computer and internet connection
• A signed NDA and completed background check are required

Responsibilities

Develop difficult, domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus
