Requirements

• Ability to work as a contractor, preferably in Canada, Colombia, Brazil, or Argentina
• For US applicants, the ability to work as an independent contractor under an LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp
• Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to the role
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and proven ability to build and deploy applications using foundation models
• Strong development skills, preferably in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, React, or similar languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Time zone overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions powered by Amazon Bedrock
• Build and fine-tune generative AI workflows and integrations into existing systems
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define scope and deliverables
• Communicate clearly and proactively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS services beyond Bedrock (e.g., Lambda, S3, SageMaker)
• Experience in prompt engineering or fine-tuning foundation models
• Experience in software consulting or client-facing development roles
