AI-Accelerated Frontend Engineer

Summary

You will contribute to improving the product's usability, maintainability, and data-driven decision-making by refining frontend structures, enhancing the component library, and supporting product analytics. A key aspect of this role involves exploring and applying AI-powered tools to enhance development. This position offers valuable experience in frontend and product engineering, working with modern web technologies and agile practices, and making a real climate impact. You will gain experience strengthening a modern frontend codebase, designing a scalable component system, and understanding how product decisions are informed by user behavior. The ideal candidate is a student enrolled in Computer Science or a related field at a German university with experience in React & TypeScript development and a demonstrated interest in applying modern AI tools.

Requirements

• You are a student currently enrolled in Computer Science or a related field at a German university
• Experience with React & TypeScript development
• Demonstrable engagement in applying modern AI tools and techniques (e.g., LLMs, code generation tools, AI-assisted analytics) within a software development context
• A genuine enthusiasm for exploring how AI can practically improve frontend architecture, design systems, and product analytics
• Strong communication skills in English
• Based in Germany

Responsibilities

• Refining and standardizing frontend structures to improve code consistency and maintainability
• Enhancing and harmonizing our component library and patterns
• Supporting and instrumenting our product analytics to reveal how customers interact with our features
• A significant and exciting dimension of this role will be your initiative to explore, experiment with, and apply AI-powered tools within our development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

Some experience in backend engineering in python is a plus
