Summary

The Algo. Trader EMEA is responsible for developing trading strategies around market-making, conducting research to identify potential trading opportunities on centralized & decentralized exchanges, collaborating with other teams to develop execution strategies, managing day-to-day crypto operations, and holding a university degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field with 3-4 years of working experience and prior experience in trading within a global financial trading firm. The ideal candidate should have strong quantitative analysis skills, be curious and autonomous, highly motivated and results-driven, have strong maths and analytical skills, and possess professional proficiency in English. Requirements

• University degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
• 3-4 years of working experience
• Prior experience in trading within a global financial trading firm is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Develop trading strategies around market-making
• Conduct research to identify potential trading opportunities on centralized & decentralized exchanges
• Collaborate with other teams to develop execution strategies
• Define optimal liquidity to provide clients with
• Manage day-to-day crypto operations (fund movements, transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, loan tracking, account opening, P&L calculation, position management, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Market Making is preferred
• Strong understanding of decentralized exchanges and decentralized finance
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency concepts such as wallets, blockchains, smart contracts and stablecoins required
