Summary

The job involves functioning as the operational SME for the All-Hazards managed service, identifying areas for improvement, influencing policies, evaluating different COTS and GOTS providers, providing expert support for operations, and collaborating with other divisions. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 8-10+ years experience in Public Safety environments, ability to travel, familiarity with the five mission areas and associated core capabilities, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, ability to keep abreast of changing software technology, and comfortability working with multiple software and hardware platforms. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent applicable experience
• 8-10+ years experience working in Public Safety (Fire, EMS, Police) environments
• Ability to travel as needed to customer sites
• Familiarity with the five mission areas and associated core capabilities

Responsibilities

• Act as the main expert on the All-Hazards service, identifying areas for improvement and influencing policies
• Conduct ongoing gap analyses comparing government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions with current and future emergency management needs
• Serve as the main contact between the business unit, various services, interagency partners, and other key stakeholders
• Evaluate different COTS and GOTS providers to consider adding them to our service portfolio
• Provide expert support for operations and work with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer needs and assist with demos
• Use your broad expertise, and some knowledge of related fields, to collaborate with other divisions and companies
