Remote Analyst II – Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

The job is a freelance, long-term data analyst position with a client on Braintrust's talent network. The role requires 4+ years of experience in scripting with SQL or analytical coding and software packages like R or Python, as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. Additional experience with Alteryx is a plus. Experience with e-commerce and Google Analytics is also beneficial.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in scripting with SQL and/or experience in analytical coding and software packages such as R, or Python
• 4+ years experience with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the data warehouse staff to identify required data and infrastructure for reporting and analyses
• Identify key patterns and anomalies in transactional reporting
• Drive better decision making by creating decision support tools that range from BI dashboards to interactive analytical applications
• Analyze large data sets by quantifying the data quality, identifying patterns and visualizing the results in Tableau
• Perform tasks such as data wrangling, A/B test design and analysis, statistical modeling, data mining, segmentation, clustering, data visualization, or basic data analysis tasks as needed
• Surface performance insights and opportunities across all of AG ecommerce businesses to inform decisions and drive positive change within the organization and/or the consumer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Alteryx is a plus
• Experience with e-commerce and Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform is a plus
