Summary

We're hiring an Emerging Tech Newsletter Writer/Analyst to join our daily Connectivity & Tech Briefings team at EMARKETER. The ideal candidate is a tech enthusiast with strong familiarity in one or more of the key topic areas, an exceptional explainer, innovator, data-driven, team-oriented, and a digital trends enthusiast. Key responsibilities include pitching, researching, and producing daily newsletters about emerging tech and Big Tech companies.

Requirements

• Experience writing professionally about tech topics
• Experience writing on a daily product
• Familiarity and some knowledge of some of these topics: AI, AR, VR, mobility (connected cars, autonomous vehicles), platform monetization strategies, data, consumer privacy, measurement currencies, attribution, and personalization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines and quick turnaround times

Responsibilities

• Pitch, research, and produce insightful and data-driven analyses in a daily newsletter product centered on Big Tech players and emerging technologies
• Provide constructive peer feedback to fellow analysts across the Connectivity & Tech team as they develop and produce stories
• Create engaging data-centric charts and graphics that support your analysis and help tell stories

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing succinct market research, preferably for a business audience

• Base salary: $75,000-85,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
