Requirements

  • 3-5 years of analytics engineering or data engineering with strong SQL proficiency and knowledge of data modeling fundamentals
  • Familiarity working with command line as well as ETL/ELT and orchestration tools such as dbt (preferred) and Dagster
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-based data warehouses
  • Knowledge of modern engineering best practices, including version control and CI/CD
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and communicate findings and solutions effectively

Responsibilities

  • Build clean, well-tested dbt models
  • Investigate, validate, and ensure data quality through testing and monitoring processes
  • Develop scalable ELT pipelines for reporting and analysis
  • Document logic and business rules to promote transparency
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate with other engineers to maintain and optimize data architecture for a high-growth healthcare data platform
