Requirements

  • Attention to detail , ensuring data accuracy and precision in analyses
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills , with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills , using data to support decisions
  • Developing knowledge of Python and/or R , complementing SQL skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical or math-based discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of data analytics or engineering experience (3 years with a masterโ€™s degree)
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL with experience in data manipulation and query optimization
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Experience managing cross-functional analytics projects , from ideation through execution

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex analyses using large datasets from various sources, such as customer and product usage data
  • Independently build and own dashboards , providing stakeholders with actionable insights across product, engineering, sales, and customer support teams
  • Collaborate with teams to design and track KPIs that align with business goals
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses , identifying opportunities for product and business improvements
  • Lead cross-functional projects , defining success criteria and aligning stakeholders
  • Create presentations that translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support product decisions and resolve customer issues
  • Execution and delivery of complex analytics projects , meeting timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain documentation of methodologies and improve operational processes
  • Provide timely communication , adhering to SLAs for data requests and delivering updates to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some hands-on experience with data pipelines and/or ETL processes is an added benefit
  • Experience with large scale data warehouses
