Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in native Android app development
  • Proficient with Kotlin
  • Experience building complex user interfaces and smooth animations
  • Experienced in writing automated tests (unit tests, UI tests, integration tests)
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new languages, frameworks, and best practices
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues, and collaborating effectively
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Develop Quality Code: Write clean, secure, and maintainable Kotlin code following best practices. Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of mobile applications
  • Create Modular Components: Build modular and reusable components that can be shared across multiple applications. Optimize code structure to improve reusability and maintainability
  • Enhance User Experience: Strive to deliver an intuitive and delightful user experience with smooth UI and animations. Work with Jetpack Compose and modern UI frameworks to enhance application aesthetics and performance
  • Technology Decisions: Choose the right tools and technologies for the job, considering long-term maintainability. Participate in technical discussions and decision-making on architecture, frameworks, and tooling
  • Lead and Mentor: Lead discussions on architectural and low-level design decisions. Share knowledge, mentor junior developers, and encourage best practices in development
  • Collaborate: Work closely with product management, development, and UX teams to bring ideas to life. Ensure smooth communication and cross-functional collaboration to align with business goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus
  • Experience in building modular components that are reused across multiple apps is a plus
