Join our growing engineering team as an Android Engineer and contribute to building technologies that are revolutionizing the financial services industry. You will build and ship features for our industry-leading Bitcoin and crypto wallet, writing reliable, well-tested Kotlin code and collaborating with senior engineers. You will deepen your expertise through code reviews and technical deep-dives, owning medium-sized features end-to-end. You will work closely with designers and product managers to translate user stories into mobile features. Take full responsibility for feature development, from planning to release, focusing on continuous improvement and scalability. Explore the latest tools and share insights with the team, championing best practices.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional Android development experience
- Proficiency in Kotlin (and familiarity with Java)
- Comfort with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose/Views, Gradle, and Git
- Hands‑on experience shipping at least one consumer app to Google Play (internal testing tracks, closed/open testing, production release, Play Console management)
- Solid grasp of asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Flow/RxJava) and common architectural patterns (MVVM/MVI)
- Commitment to unit testing and automated CI/CD pipelines
- A growth mindset—you actively seek feedback, iterate rapidly and push yourself to improve
- Clear communication skills and enjoyment of working in diverse, distributed teams
Responsibilities
- Build & Ship: Contribute to our industry-leading Bitcoin and crypto wallet – 📱 View on App Store . You’ll write reliable, well-tested Kotlin code, collaborate with senior engineers on architecture decisions, and help guide junior teammates when needed
- Learn & Grow: Deepen your expertise through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical deep-dives. You’ll own medium-sized features end-to-end while continuing to sharpen your skills in mobile security and crypto
- Collaborate: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate user stories into delightful mobile features
- Own Features: Take full responsibility for feature development—planning, debugging, testing, and releasing to production—with an eye toward continuous improvement and scalability
- Stay Curious: Explore the latest tools (Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose, Tink, etc.), share insights with the team, and champion best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal interest in crypto or fintech
- Knowledge of advanced app-security or cryptography concepts
- Familiarity with automated UI-testing frameworks (Maestro)
- An app or project in Google Play or on GitHub you can demo
- Exposure to performance profiling and memory-management tools
