Requirements

  • Is passionate about crafting high-quality Android experiences that improve people's lives
  • Has strong Kotlin skills, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK, architecture components and modern libraries
  • Is a keen collaborator and loves working closely with design to bring intuitive interfaces to life
  • Has proven experience shipping Android apps to the Play Store - from idea to execution
  • Is used to working in agile teams, with strong problem-solving abilities and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Has excellent attention to detail - both in code quality and user experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain robust Android features using Kotlin and modern Android tools
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and marketers to shape user-centred solutions from concept to release
  • Play an active role in code reviews, architectural discussions and improving engineering best practices
  • Mentor less experienced engineers, supporting their growth and helping elevate the wider team
  • Contribute to technical decisions and proactively suggest new ideas, tools or approaches that improve product quality and team velocity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose
  • A familiarity with CI/CD tools, automated testing or performance optimisation
  • Worked in either a health tech or regulated environment
