Summary
Join Dev Technology Group as an Angular Developer and contribute to dynamic government customer programs. Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement application solutions. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a passion for solving complex software challenges. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Angular applications, participating in Agile ceremonies, and troubleshooting issues. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of Angular and Java experience, and Agile development experience. Preferred skills include cloud development experience and familiarity with Spring Boot and other technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree plus at least 3 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. The work experience should include supporting Angular and Java applications
- At least 3 years of experience using a recent version of Angular
- Experience working in an Agile team development environment using Jira or a similar tool
- Experience working in an automated development environment, using CI/CD tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube
- Experience writing automated unit tests
- Experience developing against relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working to translate business requirements into working code
- Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
- Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working alongside fellow team members to make that happen
- Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (CBP Final)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain a suite of Angular applications
- Be an active member of an Agile development team, responsible for participating in all Agile ceremonies, updating Jira tasks daily and contributing to continual improvement strategies
- Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production systems
- Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers
- Mentor associate level developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing in and deploying to a Cloud environment (such as Amazon Web Services)
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar tools
- Experience with JMS (e.g., IBM MQ, ActiveMQ)
