Ap Language/Literature Tutor

Summary

Join TPAPT, a national nonprofit, as an AP English Instructor to tutor high school students (grades 9-12) online. You'll work remotely, creating customized lesson plans to support individual academic goals. This contract position offers flexible hours (6-12 hours/week) with competitive hourly pay ($25-$35/hr). Ideal candidates are licensed teachers with experience teaching AP English and strong communication skills. Tutoring sessions are scheduled between 3 PM and 9 PM CST weekdays and 10 AM to 4 PM CST on part of a weekend day.

Requirements

• 6-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Certified Teacher with experience teaching the AP subject mentioned in this post
• Materials for the subject mentioned in this post
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery

Responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
