AP Physics Tutor

Summary

Join TPAPT, a national nonprofit, as an AP Physics Instructor to tutor high school students (grades 9-12) online. You will create customized lesson plans based on students' learning styles, working 60-90 minute sessions scheduled between 3 PM and 9 PM CST weekdays and 10 AM to 4 PM CST on weekends. This contract position offers $25-$35/hour for 6-12 hours per week. Ideal candidates are licensed teachers with prior AP Physics teaching or tutoring experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for education. Familiarity with online lesson delivery is a plus.

Requirements

• 6-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Certified Teacher with experience teaching the AP subject mentioned in this post
• Materials for the subject mentioned in this post
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn

Responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM CST during the week and between 10am - 4pm CST for part of a weekend day
