AP Spanish Teacher

Summary

Join UWorld as a Contract AP Spanish Teacher to contribute to the creation of a new web-based AP Spanish product line. This independent consulting role offers the opportunity to develop curriculum materials for a brand-new product focused on preparing students and educators for success with the Advanced Placement curriculum. You will leverage your AP course expertise and teaching knowledge to create exceptional learning resources. The position involves content creation, revision, and collaboration with a team of content experts. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $35, work-from-home flexibility, and the ability to set your own schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Must have a teaching degree or certification, plus a Spanish degree or minor
• 5+ years of experience teaching AP Spanish
• Strong knowledge of the AP CED is required
• Passion for education and learning
• Strong writing skills
• Effective problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and analytically and execute conceptual ideas into a finished product
• Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environment
• Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively
• Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills to successfully meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proven ability to write high-quality passages, questions, and explanations

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of College Readiness
• Write AP Spanish content including class activities, practice questions, slideshow presentations, lecture notes, and more
• Revise and provide constructive feedback on content written by other authors
• Generate classroom activities that reflect existing AP blueprint standards
• Validate accuracy and relevance of content generated with other team members
• Work with other content experts to identify topics for new product development
• Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met

Preferred Qualifications

AP Reader, AP Table Leader, and AP Consultant experience highly preferred
