Summary

Join the team as our next Director, HRBP APJ to lead the HR efforts across Asia-Pacific (APJ) region by aligning business objectives with localized people strategies, programs, processes and tactics within multiple functions and locations.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • International work experience and proficiency with local regulations in multiple countries within the APJ region
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as needed
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and globally
  • Experience as a regional HR Business Partner, operating in a location outside of the company headquarters
  • People management experience directly leading others
  • Experience working independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Will take the initiative to drive projects forward even under ambiguous circumstances, appropriately collaborating with partners along the way

Responsibilities

  • Support & partner on strategic and operational consultation on topics including organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and local employment laws
  • Support a regional people strategy and cultivate regional and country-specific organizational health in collaboration with business leaders, HRBP partners and COE's
  • Champion and role model Twilio’s values, corporate programs and change initiatives
  • Influence decision making by clearly communicating insights and predictions grounded in people analytics and market trends
  • Manage a team of HR Business Partners within the region and partner closely across our global HR Business Partner team and Centers of Excellence within the People team
