Summary

We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect with a strong background in healthcare to join our team for a long-term contract. This role involves designing and implementing Appian-based solutions within the healthcare industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing application performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Appian
• Significant experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare processes, systems, and regulations
• Proven experience in leading large-scale Appian implementations in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure Appian solutions
• Application Development
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Integration & Automation
• Design and implement integrations between Appian applications and other healthcare systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, claims processing)
• Leverage Appian’s automation capabilities to streamline healthcare workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Compliance & Security
• Ensure all Appian solutions comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive patient data and maintain the integrity of healthcare applications
• Performance Optimization
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Appian applications, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and usability
