Application Architect

Summary

Join European Dynamics as an Application Architect (Java, Angular)! This role, based in Belgium or remotely, involves working with a major client's IT team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting application architecture, managing complex systems, and designing information systems. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in IT with 15+ years of experience, including 3+ years in Java, Angular, and Weblogic. Excellent English is required. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT
• Minimum 3 years of proven expertise in Java, Angular and Weblogic or other JEE container, management
• Good knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus)
• Good knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka)
• Good knowledge in Akoma Ntoso: simple technology-neutral electronic representations in XML format of parliamentary, legislative and judiciary documents
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS and modelling tools
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot application architecture
• Manage complex architecture and integrate heterogeneous systems to it
• Architecture and design of information systems
• Review of the architecture of existing systems
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks (back-end/front-end)
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
• Data analysis and data modelling
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Oracle Middleware and ITIL
• Good understanding of French
