Summary

Join Intelerad as an Applications and Workflow Consultant and provide clinical and technical services to clients. You will work with project management to ensure successful project delivery and design efficient workflows. Responsibilities include configuring, testing, and troubleshooting Intelerad software solutions, collaborating with third-party vendors, optimizing client workflows, and providing technical support. You will also work closely with project managers to ensure solutions meet client requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in clinical cardiology or radiology, and knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT-related field, or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Experience in clinical cardiology or radiology
  • Experience implementing radiology or cardiology products or software
  • Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients and all functional areas of the business via phone, email, chat, and in-person
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Success in managing a demanding clientele under tight deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Willingness to work/travel independently or as part of a team with availability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot most Intelerad software solutions
  • Assist clients and other internal teams in software configuration and testing sessions to deliver workflows
  • Collaborate and work with third-party vendors to integrate solutions to Intelerad solutions via a published API
  • Verify required internal Intelerad integrations and assist with workflow testing
  • Verify and occasionally modify DICOM routing, pre-fetching, etc
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize overall client workflows
  • Support the client as they begin using new products and workflows, during and (sometimes) after a project implementation
  • Identify and help resolve issues related to Intelerad product lines
  • Liaise with other client project vendors, network/IT staff, and our headquarters staff
  • Execute any necessary consistency or implementation checks for projects (i.e., implementation checklist, FPU checks, etc.)
  • Potentially be involved in hardware configuration/testing or verifications (including modalities, servers, workstations, storage peripherals, etc.)
  • Assist and support remote upgrades by participating in testing and troubleshooting of the test and production environment
  • Work with the project manager to document the installation (e.g., issues, change requests, etc.)
  • As much as possible, be assigned to specific projects and technically assist in delivery
  • Organize post-installation/post-upgrade debriefing meetings with client support and infrastructure services to share information on architecture and configuration changes
  • Where applicable, prepare in advance for upcoming on-site visits (familiarize yourself with client architecture/workflow, remotely connect to PACS servers to verify configuration, etc.)
  • Resolve/delegate outstanding issues after completing the installation/upgrade (may require assisting the client via phone and/or email)
  • Assist with project management tasks as needed
  • Keep abreast of the latest software and solutions sold by Intelerad (including those from third parties)
  • Gather client needs and relay them to the product management team to design product roadmaps that meet their needs
  • Contribute to the team's internal documentation library
  • Assist team and project leads in ensuring that our service offering meets our standards and that clients are satisfied with the level of service provided by Intelerad
  • If necessary, participate in discovery calls to define scope or clarify upcoming projects
  • Be available to project managers, customer success managers, and/or other internal staff to assist with certain tasks (e.g., verify PACS configurations remotely, perform software testing, troubleshoot issues, etc.)
  • Offer subject matter expert opinions and advice to other internal teams (e.g., CIS, Support, PIT, etc.)
  • Promote teamwork and good communication within the team, within the company, and with our clients
  • Promote positive collaboration with other teams
  • Participate in any other projects deemed necessary by the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and use of Intelerad products
  • Experience configuring/troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks; strong understanding of the following: IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, etc
  • Experience with medical imaging equipment (e.g., modalities, film printers/scanners, high-resolution medical monitors, etc.)
  • SQL, PostgreSQL, and Sybase querying skills
  • Experience with the Windows environment (e.g., partitioning, hardware, drivers, networking, security, troubleshooting, etc.) and/or with Linux/Unix operating systems (file system navigation, file viewing/editing, networking, etc.)
