Summary

Join our innovative team as a self-directed Senior Applied Research Scientist to develop novel radiotherapy algorithms and improve cancer care worldwide.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of programming concepts with experience using a modern language
  • Ability to actively communicate with customers and other staff members
  • Ability to aggregate feedback and requests from clinicians to identify general problems solvable through automated methodologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of traditional dose calculation methods (Pencil Beam, CVSP, etc)
  • Able to formulate experiment design and run experiments while developing new algorithms and technology
  • Able to stay current with state-of-the-art algorithmic techniques
  • Experience conceiving, implementing, and maintaining clinically used software solutions

Responsibilities

  • Take technical ownership of Radformation proprietary dose calculation algorithms
  • Work with research and product teams to create new radiotherapy products and algorithms
  • Test and benchmark Radformation proprietary algorithms against industry standard algorithms
