Summary
Join Eurofins Scientific as an Area Sales Manager and develop and execute a territory business plan, selling and promoting the Diatherix Eurofins product line to meet sales targets. You will identify and develop new client opportunities, prioritize project planning, and meet customer deadlines. Responsibilities include utilizing the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach, educating customers on product value, and demonstrating ROI. You will also monitor competitive activities, deliver effective communications, and ensure customer satisfaction. Continuous learning and attending sales training are expected. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of sales experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan
- Sell and promote the Diatherix Eurofins product line to meet territory sales targets for assigned region
- Identify and develop new client opportunities
- Prioritize project planning
- Meet and complete customer requests/deadlines
- Organize territory management
- Sell utilizing the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach
- Educate customers on the value of Diatherix Eurofins products and services. Demonstrate ROI, value-added proposition and the importance of partnering with our customers to develop applicable solutions
- Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking; monitor and evaluate competitive services, pricing and other activities
- Deliver oral and written communications in a coherent manner; work in conjunction with marketing and other sales teams to develop and implement sales and marketing plans
- Recognize and demonstrate Diatherixβs complete commitment to customer satisfaction by providing prompt resolutions of customer problems or concerns; understand and uphold the Diatherix quality policy and compliance guidelines
- Take ownership of personal development and continuous learning; attend required sales training, seminars, and trade shows
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in the biological sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) with strong quantitative skills
- Experience selling molecular diagnostics in the outpatient physician market
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostic, or medical sales
- Success calling on Pediatricians, GI, Family Practice, and Primary Care
- Business to Business sales experience that involves cold calling for new business
- Knowledge related to PCR, Infection prevention and control, and antimicrobials
- Positive, winning attitude and the desire for continuous improvement
- Manages change well
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a large territory and produce sales growth while maintaining existing accounts
- Team-oriented
