Summary

Join Target Group as an Arrears Executive and make a real impact in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. This fully remote contract offers a starting salary of £23,809.50 for 37.5 hours per week, including one Saturday in two. You will support customers facing financial difficulties, conducting income and expenditure assessments, and setting up sustainable payment arrangements. The ideal candidate is a friendly, proactive team player with experience in arrears or collections and working with vulnerable customers in a regulated environment. Requirements

  • Have a friendly nature, enjoy speaking with people and can provide the best possible customer service
  • Care about your job and the difference you can make to our customers
  • Be able to work collaboratively as a team
  • Be pro-active, inquisitive and problem solving by nature
  • Have previous experience within an Arrears or Collections environment
  • Have previous experience dealing with vulnerable customers in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

  • Take calls from customers who are in a debt recovery process, listening to their situation, being empathetic and trying to reduce any worries they may have
  • Complete income and expenditure assessments to review their affordability, with the aim of setting up sustainable payment arrangements
  • Use your initiative to recommend organisations that may be able to assist the customer, such as Citizen’s Advice or debt charities
