Arrears Specialist

Summary

Join Target Group as a Mortgage Remediation Arrears Specialist and contribute to providing transparent and fair solutions to customers while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

• Working within a Regulated Mortgage Industry
• Collections / Recoveries processes
• History of managing customers facing hardship and proficient in forbearance treatments
• Proficient in, and familiar with loan servicing / claim management databases and software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle vulnerable customers
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Customer service or in a client-facing role
• Underwriting in a financial servicing environment

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with borrowers to explain findings and/or discuss remediation options
• Process remediation payments and adjustments in loan servicing systems
• Undertake administrative tasks; processing activities such as debtor tracing, returned mail and workflow management
