Requirements

  • Have 4+ years as an Art Director with a proven track record of delivering high-quality filmed content, including live-action and tutorial-style videos
  • Have proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva, with a deep understanding of filming and production workflows
  • Have strong ideation skills, balancing conceptual thinking with hands-on execution
  • Have excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into engaging visual stories
  • Be a collaborative and resilient problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and values feedback as a growth tool
  • Be a positive, empathetic teammate with a knack for cross-functional collaboration and creative leadership

Responsibilities

  • Lead shoot days for Design School certification content, directing talent and guiding production teams on framing, lighting, and set design to achieve high-quality results
  • Develop creative approaches to showcasing Canvaโ€™s features and step-by-step tutorials in a way that is engaging, clear, and aspirational
  • Partner with designers, videographers, and editors to create cohesive and professional content
  • Review video and screen-recorded content, providing constructive feedback to refine outputs and ensure brand alignment
  • Strategize and oversee production processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with deadlines and project goals
  • Work with multiple teams across Canva to align on creative direction and project objectives
  • Track the performance of content, integrating insights to inform and improve future projects
