Assistant Belt Vulcaniser

Summary

Join our team as a Belt Vulcanisation Assistant to assist with belt vulcanisation work, perform periodical inspections of belt conveyor and equipment parts, and carry out repairing of belt vulcanising machines and tools. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of conveyor belt joints and experience in belt vulcanization.

Requirements

• Knowledge of conveyor belt joints. Hot, cold and steel cord belts
• TVET-1/TVET-II with 8/4 years Experience,in belt Vulcanizatio.Hot and cold joint for fabric and steel cold

Responsibilities

• Assist for belt vulcanisation work
• Periodical Inspection of belt conveyor, belt joints and idlers and other equipment parts and immediate corrective action like repairing of weak joints
• Keep record of the belt joint condition and action taken
• Fill required checklist for condition of belt conveyors
• Carry out repairing of belt vulcanising machines and tools
• Keep all tools and machine in working condition
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Support maintenance of plant equipment as when required
• Work with engineers as needed in order to complete assignments; provide input as requested
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Engineers from time to time
