Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in one or more APAC countries
- Familiarity with payroll software and payroll practices in a centralized environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately
- Basic understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in APAC countries
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Proactive and resourceful in solving payroll-related issues
- Adaptable to changing processes and a continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for APAC countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Verify and input payroll data, including salaries, overtime, and deductions, into the payroll system
- Assist in payroll calculations and resolve discrepancies related to payroll processing
- Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with tax and social security regulations in each country
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues or queries
- Assist with month-end payroll reports and audits as required
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and address any payroll-related issues in a timely manner
- Support the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings and statutory contributions for the APAC region
