Lead a team of Executive Directors supporting school and district partners, driving partner success, retention, and growth. This remote position requires overseeing customer success plans, ensuring satisfaction and retention, and fostering cross-functional alignment. You will supervise Executive Directors, report to the Chief Revenue Officer, and contribute to a rapidly growing organization focused on closing the literacy gap. Requirements

  • Coaching and mentoring: Inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team, attract and retain top talent, and create a collaborative, accountable, results-driven culture.   • Collaboration: Be viewed as a partner by team members, the organization, and external partners. Effectively find compromise and negotiate the best solution that focuses on meeting customer needs within organizational capabilities
  • Customer focus: Ensure your team is optimizing the organization's value to its customers and identify areas to strengthen organizational customer centricity. Prove internal and/or external partners to uncover needs and identify underlying issues
  • Decision-making and judgment: Approach decision-making with structure and logic. Resolve or facilitate the resolution of complex problems quickly and thoroughly
  • Valuing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Operate with transparency and equity around decisions; creating structures for psychological safety on your team to ensure all are contributing their perspectives, sharing critical feedback, and feel comfortable asking tough questions
  • Results focus: Set ambitious but reasonable goals that push your team and the organization to high levels of success. Keep meticulous track of the status of goals, KPIs/OKRs, and drivers to ensure your team works with urgency to reach milestones
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure your team is successful in driving business goals. Serve as a mentor and help reduce/remove barriers which impact your teamโ€™s productivity and success
  • 5 + years of demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • 3 + years of experience in customer success, strategy, or delivery roles, preferably within the B2B education sector
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful customer success strategies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enable the team to set strategy to develop and execute customer success plans and account plans to align Springboard programs and services with school and district needs and priorities
  • Own and report on functional team Quarterly Business Reviews to examine and share the team's progress toward goals, challenges to the business, and forecast reporting
  • Work with department leaders and sales operations teams to develop and oversee the processes for assessing account health, identifying churn risks, and creating playbooks for the District Success team
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical improvements to mitigate school and district churn risks
  • Proactively drive cross-functional alignment across District Partnerships, Philanthropy, Products and Services, and Marketing
  • Lead change management to support strategic initiatives to optimize Executive Director productivity and maximize partner satisfaction and success
  • Model and set expectations for effective collaboration with other departments and functional team leadership to drive the adoption of SBC programs and services, successful implementation, and renewal
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve large district issues and serve as the final stop on escalations
  • Ensure the overall satisfaction and retention of Springboard customers
  • Lead the District Success Team in ensuring an excellent partner experience for large districts across all program and service offerings
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with large districts
  • Enable Executive Directors to partner with the Product & Services, Sales, and Philanthropy team to retain and grow existing accounts
  • Oversee the strategic management of large school district accounts and engagement with key executive stakeholders
  • Set vision and goals for each large district via the success planning process and tooling
  • Build district engagement by partnering with communities
  • Partner with influencer communities to drive district partner engagement
  • Create customer communities and networks at the executive level
  • Build customer reference networks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understand value-based sales strategies and have the ability to implement strategies to positively impact customer retention within education or education tech sales field
  • Have strong project management acumen with the ability to drive operational excellence through partnership with cross-functional teams
