Summary

The job is for an experienced Attorney specializing in insurance coverage, bad faith, and complex tort and business litigation at a mid-sized law firm in Glendale, California. The candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, but exceptional candidates with 3-4 years of experience will also be considered.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
• 3-10 years of experience in insurance coverage, bad faith, or related litigation fields
• Strong research and writing skills with demonstrated ability to draft coverage opinions and legal briefs
• Experience managing a caseload and conducting depositions
• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload involving insurance coverage, bad faith, and other complex tort and business litigation matters
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court proceedings
• Provide comprehensive coverage opinions for first-party and/or third-party claims
• Demonstrate strong research and writing skills for legal briefs, motions, and other documents
• Handle diverse law and motion practice in both state and federal courts
• Provide appellate support as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Appellate experience is a plus

Benefits

• This position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 annually
