Summary
Join our team as an Associate Attorney in Arizona. Responsibilities include understanding client policies, researching laws, preparing cases, managing cases, supporting firm, maintaining cost standards, and improving quality results. Minimum qualifications are a JD from an ABA school, admission to the practice in Arizona, superior analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of litigation process, and experience in creditorโs rights law is a plus.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA school required
- Admitted to the practice in the State of Arizona
- Must possess superior analytical skills and have strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of litigation process from suit filing through and including judgment enforcement is a must
Responsibilities
- Understands all client policies and conducts all firm business within those guidelines
- Researches and understands laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court rules and regulations, including industry trends and conducts all firm business within those guidelines
- Prepares cases attends court hearing, conference calls, consulting client witnesses; completing discovery process; developing case and testimony; completing filings, motions, and submissions; supervising paralegal
- Manages cases by monitoring schedules; expediting requirements; obtaining and forwarding information
- Supports firm and clients by initiating and maintaining open communications; keeping firm informed of any issues with workflow or policy changes, etc
- Maintains cost standards by monitoring expenses; recommending cost-saving opportunities
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes
- Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in creditorโs rights law is a plus
