Associate Backend Engineer (NodeJS/Typescript)

Summary

Join our fast-growing scale-up to make FINN the natural choice in Germany as a Backend Engineer in the Customer Operations team.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering with a hands-on mindset
• Experience with Javascript and Typescript
• Knowledge in SQL, Docker and building HTTP APIs or with serverless applications is a plus
• Experience with Git and traditional PR review processes is a plus
• Previous experience in an agile development team
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Simplify, automate and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually using no-code tools as Make or Retool (20%) and solid hard code implementation (80%)
• Build features and take ownership for testing, deployment and monitoring of your code
• Share your technical expertise : Play a driving technical role in the Backend team. You will be able to share your technical knowledge and engineering best practices, as well as shape technical discussions to deliver the best possible solutions
