Associate BI Developer

Summary

Join our team as an Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer, utilizing your BI and data engineering skills to create insightful PowerBI dashboards, data modeling, and working with data sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years. of experience in BI development with a strong focus on PowerBI
• Proficiency in BI tools, such as Power BI, for creating reports and dashboards
• Experience with M Query language for data transformation and query optimization
• Knowledge of connecting to and integrating various data sources within PowerBI
• Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., ETL processes, data warehousing)
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and basic programming skills in languages like Python or R is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively collaborating with stakeholders and presenting findings

Responsibilities

• Work with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Explorer (ADX), and querying tools like SQL to manage and manipulate data
• Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and data insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
• Monitor data pipelines to ensure reliability, troubleshoot issues, and maintain optimal performance
• Collaborate with senior data engineers to integrate data from multiple sources
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver data-driven solutions
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights
